RE:RE:News- 12 Store!

RE:RE:News- 12 Store!Obviously we want more stores outside Manitoba but do we need them right now?  Manitoba and Winnipeg more speciically is a place where we have the strongest competitive edge and our stores will be the most profitable there due to reduced shipping costs.  I think it makes perfect sense for DN to capture as much of the Manitoba market share as they can.  Saturation will at some point be a worry but I'm sure they're watching their sales figures from other stores very closely as new ones open to look for signs of that.

Acquiring licenses is probably cheaper in Manatiba too and lease costs definitely are, probably labour and power too, etc.  Having low cost stores is good for us, may as well snatch those up first I say.

They said what something like 4 -6 in Manitoba this year?  So they'll probably do 1-3 more in Manitoba before going elsewhere (unless a great opportunity pops up that they can't refuse).

That's my guess anyway.
