Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:APHA/TLRY MERGER CONVERSATION ON BNN

RE:APHA/TLRY MERGER CONVERSATION ON BNN No. Tilray would have to pay Aphria 65 million IF Tilray were to decide not to merge. We voted yes, did you not see the News?

Sell a share, buy a dictionary and learn what the word "reciprocal" means.

The Agreement includes certain reciprocal customary provisions, including covenants in respect of the non-solicitation of alternative transactions, a right to match superior proposals and C$65 million (US$50 million) reciprocal termination fee payable under certain circumstances.

APPARENTLY TLRY IS NOT COMMENTING ON THE REASON FOR DELAY OF THEIR SHAREHOLDERS MEETING TO VOTE ON MERGER!  BUT THE SPECULATION IS TO GIVE THEIR SHAREHOLDERS ENOUGH TIME TO RELECT ON THE MEETING BEFORE THEY VOTE ON APRIL 30TH.

ALSO, IF THEMERGERS DOESN'T GO THROUGH WHEN TLRY MEETING OCCURS , APHA WOULD HAVETO PAY 65 MLNS TO TLRY. ( NTO GOOD FOR US)

GENERALLY SPEAKING: ANALYSTS ARE POSITIVE ON THE MERGER FOR BOTH COMPANIES..
