RE:RE:RE:PMN wishes from three weeks ago.. You may have overlooked something.. you mentioned that there were millions of shares bought... how about m illions of shares SOLD.... this is where the short term porfit traders come into play. A few weeks ago they spotted a stock that was climbing and tons of volume. they bought with aniticpation that the stock could be making a breakout ... the stock moved from the low teens to the low 20's. After a week the stock levelled out in volumme, the share price became stagnent in the low 20's. many of them figured out that the expected news looked like it was going to be delayed . So we see a sudden surge of selling /buying in ther low 20's and when those asks and bids wore out, the objective is to drive the shares back down .. and then you start to rebuy in anticipatiom of the next surge in the stock price. These guys are doing this everyday, with numerous stocks, not just PMN. You can get upset with them but how many of us are buying and selling and making a few thousand dollars a day. I would like to do this but you need to be wathcing your stock ticker from opening to closing and be ready to move at a moments notice. The other thing is that this daily trading ( in CRA's view) becomes income and is taxed on the full amount of gain and not 50% as we expect with capital;gain rules. I think you can canvas a few of the people on this message board and they will be very honest and tell you thats what they do. They take the expression " buy low -sell high" to a different level.
