RE:RE:I think this guy is correct There is possibly some confusion there for sure, good eye! The IRB is the American equivalent of the REB in Canada ....it stands for Institutional Review Board. So it appears that whoever is writing the NRs got careless because it was certainly expected that THRM was applying for HC and FDA approval.
I would not anticipate that IRB approval would be accepted by HC as well as the FDA ....but that is purely speculative. Safe to say that regardless of the slip, were this in fact the case, they have clearly stated they are now applying for HC approval to carry out the test.
The other positive is that they actually do have IRB approval and can therefore make application to the FDA to carry out testing in the US. IFf that were the case I'd like to think that worth letting investors know about.
Cheers!

(But nowhere in the PR do they explain what IRB is.) They go on to say the next step after IRB approval is to submit to HC for approval. But what is IRB? I assumed its ethics board as they say they submitted to ethics board in 03-11 PR. So, they say they submitted Toronto study to "REB" for ethics approval in 03-11 PR. Then they say they they got "IRB" approval in 03-25 PR. IRB vs. REB??
Can anyone clear this up? I am thinking that they already have ethics approval for toronto study and await HC approval beflore Toronto study can start. But PR's are not clear so hoping someone can clarify.
