RE:Simplification I don't believe the safe Banking Act or the more Act will see the light of day in the Senate. Chuck Schumer controls what gets put to a vote in the Senate and he has been working for a long time with Cory Booker and others on a comprehensive marijuana reform policy. I don't think Chuck Schumer will allow any other bill on the floor.

This legislation is timely as there is huge pressure on the government to act as the current government position unfairly targets minorities Have you watched the news from the States lately , they need this act badly , if some Republican states don't wish to partake they can opt out similar to what Canadian municipalities did.
The MORE Act — the Marijuana Opportunity, Reinvestment and Expungement Act — is historic in scope. It would end the criminalization of cannabis for adults by removing it from the list of controlled substances, eliminate related criminal penalties, and take several other major steps toward criminal justice reform, social justice, and economic development.
