HPQ Silicon Inc V.HPQ

Alternate Symbol(s):  HPQFF

HPQ Silicon Inc. (HPQ) is a Canada-based technology company specializing in green engineering of silica and silicon-based materials. The Company is engaged in developing, with the support of technology partners PyroGenesis Canada Inc. (PyroGenesis) and Novacium SAS, new green processes to make the critical materials needed to reach net zero emissions. Its activities are centered around the three pillars: becoming a green low-cost (Capex and Opex) manufacturer of Fumed Silica using the Fumed Silica Reactor, a proprietary technology owned by HPQ being developed for HPQ by PyroGenesis; becoming a producer of silicon-based anode materials for battery applications with the assistance of Novacium SAS, and Novacium SAS is engaged in developing a low carbon, chemical base on demand and high-pressure autonomous hydrogen production system. The Company operates in a single operating segment, segment, being the sector of the transformation of quartz into silicon materials and derivative products.

RE:RE:RE:RE:Other nano company's

RE:RE:RE:RE:Other nano company'sUnless I missed something, this Group14 is not making the nano-silicon, they claim to have developed a process to combine nano-silicon and carbon to create the perfect anode (alleged until I see it commercialized - 2013 is the projection). They still need to purchase high quality raw materials and at economical enough cost to make it feasible for the automakers.

Enter HPQ with their low cost, highest of them all quality nano-silicon material, sounds like a good marriage to me. It's not really competition when one company finds a way to use another companies’ raw materials.

stay safe!

In other words... it's going to very expensive...like maybe 10x the price of graphite. Not a contender when HPQ is looking to deliver carbon coated nano-silicon that is near the same price as graphite.
Plus HPQ Silicon QRR can transform cheap quartz into high value silicon 2-4N purity in one step....that in itself is leaps and bounds ahead.

Ya and pure vap can't pop out the tons this factor does.

Also they getting a patient so they have their own tech.
my point is HPQ is not alone in the feild. Which makes me wonder about the drop in share price as others seem to be ramping up faster.

That Reddit post got me thinking.... How much Nano can they make?

Quite a few company's are ramping up to be nano silicon producers.
Who puts out most and good quality could be the winner.
It seems like HPQ is a small player compared to others out there.

Did anyone do a company to company comparison of other producers to hpq?

Yes I bet they even dream about Purevap QRR which can transform cheap useless quartz into high value silicon 2-4N purity in one step...very economically.  Purevap NSiR is beyond their imagination lol.

As Bernard stated..many will make all kinds of claims that they can produce silicon nano-powders but they are 5-6 years behind in R&D alone.

"We don't want to be a supplier of silicon nano-powders but THE SUPPLIER of silicon nano-powders!" HPQ CEO
