RE:why prospectus 1.2 B, acquisition or merger?We actually do not know what the dilution would look like, that will depend on what price HEXO can get per share. If the market sets the price at $7 or $8 bucks per share at the time the company needs to raise capital then that will play on how many share need to be issued. If the market sets the price back up in the $10 to $14 range then less will be needed. The higher the price the better.
News moves the markets. If the SAFE Act gets moving, if HEXO announces a pending deal on the US side of the border, etc etc etc, it is reasonable to expect the shareprice will increase. The market can provide news and HEXO can provide news, what they provide and when is up to them.
