Fire is a much better run company today than in the past. But as you’ve stated it’s still a small company with a lot of competition in the canadian market. Can it do well going forward on it’s own? Perhaps but a merge of somekind was inevitable to remain a strong player. And if they remained on their own another year or so a rs is inevitable which would cast a dark cloud over stock for awhile.
i get people feel betrayed and let down but this is the stock market. Best to leave emotions aside on your way in. I think Fire is a great company and with canopy can grow more. A lot of talk on here of voting no. Don’t know why people would want to shoot themselves in the foot.
M&A is going to keep happening at an accelerated rate. I’m happy Fire was one of them, a lot less risk associated with this company now. And if the deal is not approved and current share structure we’d be in this trading range for quite awhile.
