RE:RE:90,000 Liters of Fuel Storage at Plant 1Hello Janota,
Your suggestion makes a lot of sense. Contracters looking to bid on supplying the equipment that operates at Plant 1 can do so knowing they can preposition fuel at the site to supply their loaders etc. with onsite fuel. They source the fuel and keep the storage tanks supplied - Verde owns the tank but not the fuel inside it (so no inventory count issues at quarter end).
The second tank (or maybe several smaller tanks adding up to 60,000 litres) could provide the same utility for the trucking contractor running the shuttle delivery between mine site and processing plant, and perhaps a different contractor(s) for outbound delivery of finished product. Again, bid for the annual contract knowing you can store your fuel at the site in bulk, keeping your trucks working at peak efficiency.
As I have observed in several prior postings, the operation of the processing plant appears to be under excellent day-to-day management with a keen eye on cost controls and operational efficiency as the tank proposals above would seem to confirm.
Cheers,
S
