Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Skypit

How long did it take you to write that post?   Wow you said more there than many posters do in a lifetime on these boards.  - lololo

I feel your pain and went through a similar event myself and lost quite a bit of money early on too.  Important thing to remember is it happens to all of us.   Best advise I can give is to "LEARN" from that episode and try not to make the same error twice.

I find it happens to quite a few people more often today.  My guess is that the markets are heavily manipulated and rigged and the SEC allows these illegal activities to continue that benefit the rich at the expense of the hard working retail group who are just trying to make a few bucks to enjoy a better quality of life for themselves and their families.  There aren't too many other options of building and creating wealth outside the stock markets.  GIC's pay next to nothing or I would sell my entire portfolio and invest it in a good guaranteed 8 to 10 percent return without the risk of the stock markets.  The late 80's  were a good time to invest in GIC's with interest rates so high but many were too busy just trying to stay afloat carrying high mortgage payments with high interest costs.

Interest rates will stay low for an extended period of time IMO.   Real Estate prices are too high and in bubble territory.  Not worth the gamble there.

Stocks seem to be the only game in town.  Just be very careful of when and at what price you buy inclusive of the dollar cost averaging.

I love the Cannabis industry very much and believe this is going to be the "goto" industry going forward.   I like my avg price of $19.15 cdn too.     Can we go lower?  Sure we can but we are pretty darn close to a bottom here imo.  I look at the positive and the other side of the spectrum in greater detail.    That is how high can the new Aphria/Tilray go?  Not willing to put any hard core numbers out there since no one knows.  I am pretty darn sure that the stock will be a very realistic "double" from here.  Who wouldn't want that?   If we get a triple or quadruple from today's share price then that is gravy for me.  I am willing to bet most people would love and be happy for a simple double from today's share price within 12 months.

That is why I don't pay any attention to any of the Ghost posts or his charting comments.  That may be useful info for swing or day traders but it shouldn't matter for the long term buy and hold investors who believe in the Cannabis industry and more importantly in this new joint venture global leader in the making company we will have signed off on in short order.   Don't stress yourselves out over the charts or other irrelevant details.  Just keep things simple and you will be fine.   People wind up tripping over themselves because they are reading too much into things and listening too much to irrelevant opinions.  Learn to think for yourself and tune out or mute the posters that cause you anxiety or confusion.  That is what those mute buttons are for.  Find the posters that make the most sense to you and learn from that.  Take the ideas presented here then follow up on your own end for further due diligence.  Put in the time to read as much as you can about your company.  Remember that these are your hard earned dollars here.

The rich keep things simple and follow their gut on global trends and company specific growth plans.  Good leaders as CEO's are essential otherwise the company is finished or the company's profits are marginal at best.

We have a real winner here.

Buy, Hold and prosper!

Ron
