RE:Market size update soon? Thanks as always for your support MM! The ability to have several other opinions north of the border has been of great help to both myself and other STIG members.
I am expecting an April 2021 presentation effort some time soon, let's hope many of your factual and astute observations are considered, even with a 90% discount. My addition would come buy way of "subtraction"....what about the cost savings and the damage control to key organs?
* AKI and kdney / dialysis issues were as troublesome here as any in the intial wave that hit US hot-spots....dialysis equipment seemed to be at more of a premium than a ventilator at some points!
* PMX usage is known to reduce AKI...think of the savings both now and in the future care for an injured kidney(s)
* Obviously the DIMI has too many cost-savings to list, but the ability to have dialysis daily and run clean blood through the organs provides a benefit that is difficult to quantify...at least now and without your "wizardry" ; - )
* It is coming together and so nice to see our CMO involved in a Covid19 realated retro-spective study....let's see what the three states here in the NE have to say...I'm curious on the low-hanging fruit and the AKI expericnce of those critically ill survivors with and without PMX usage. It's like the blood pressure benefit, we know it's there, let's just dress it up and let it out on the town for an evening...or two.
Estor just ran a presentation in Italy on pediactric usage and also transplant involvement...I still can't figure out how it helps the feet, but I'm always a ittle slow to catch on! ; - )
Bon chance,
Tom
