I just re-listened to the entire presentation. Benic was speaking about EU GMP certification for the Paris Facility Slide in the Deck... Here is the actual quote:
"We truly believe that we MAY see the certification sometime in the next four to six weeks. Which will create a massive market for us internationally."
He didn't say we WILL see the certification in 4-6 weeks. He said the word "may". There is a difference. So it is taking a little longer than expected. Chill out. It will happen. The facilty was built to be EU GMP....
What I found exciting about the presentation was that the company expects to produce 25,000 kg of cannabis per year from Paris facility alone, and that a major portion of that production will be sold into the EU at 4.00 Euros/gram or about $7/gram $CAN on the wholesale level and $11/gram retail through German retail partnership. Cost to produce is $0.50/gram.
So think about that. From Paris alone, with none of the outdoor incuded:
25,000 kg = 25,000,000 grams
25 million x $ 6.50 = $162,500, 000
That is just off of Paris Facility alone. Not saying that they are going to sell all product produced at those prices (some will be at $11.00/gram retail!) and some will go to Canadian Market, but if they were to even sell half of what they produce overseas at $6.50/gram we are talking $81,250,000 in international sales just off of the Paris Facility.
Most Canadian LP's trade at 5 - 8 x revenue. I'll let you do the math.
Aleafia is an underloved, undervalued bargain right here. I consider it ripe as a takeover target too. Easy for an American MSO to purchase Aleafia and then import medical cannabis to New York and the rest of the USA. Irwin Simon, CEO of Aphria said in interview on CNBC last week that he sees Medical Cannabis Imports to USA as one of the first markets to open up in USA for Canadian LP's. I half expect Aphria/Tilray to purchase Aleafia and get their money back that they had to pay out in the settlement last year.
