Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

If Schumer prevents Big Tabacco and Liquor...

If Schumer prevents Big Tabacco and Liquor...If he makes it so that Big tabacco or big alcohol are limited in the retail stores they can own (for more social equiality), they wont be able to buy MSOs. That would make the LPs the likely buyout targets. Ontario has a similar law where LPs are not allowed to own retain chains. If a similar law is passed in Schumers social equity cannabis plan than the big money will flow to wholesale and since LPs are the top wholesalers than they have a huge oppurtunity. You can argue Cresco is a top wholesaler but they dont have the economies of scale the LPs have.
