Nordstream 2 & US LNG Hourse trading expectedIm expecting some 3 way horse trading as President Biden is likely to strong arm deal and mend fences with Germany:
1) a LNG contract with Germany et al (EU Union)
2) in exchange for dropping its opposition (sanctions) to Nordstream 2.
But I'm not sure what Russia will offer the Americans (maybe Ukraine conscessions)
In any case a long term deal with US & Germany for LNG should be seen as extremely bullish for US Nat Gas as it is the LNG Eports & Mexico exports (20% of US dry production) that is supporting the nat gas price in the US. The US will need to look to canada in the near term to help refill the storage in the US prior to this winters heating season.
