Don't waste your breath on this "Canadian" guy. He's been going on and on for a few months on how CPX 's stock price should be at least $70. Then on the other had he's been going on about how bad the CPX management is. I actually think they've done a masterful job transitioning from Alberta coal to other business segments.
The guy doesn't have a clue. I got into it with him back in Feb befre deciding he's just an idiot. :-)

Yes, Algonquin does have a small percentage of their business related to energy generation, but a huge aspect of their business is in the local distribution utility business. They own multiple businesses across the U.S. to read, bill and collect on local utility customers - just like a Toronto Hydro, or a Veridian (two examples from Ontario). None of that portion of their business has anything to do with generation or transmission.
