You are correct. The book, not the person. Cervantes was the author. It's an important book in literary history.

Malapropisms... I had a boss who used to drive me crazy with his garbled phrases. In meetings the guy used to frequently say "That having said" instead of "With that having been said" or "That being said". And many others.
