Approx. 1800 elective surgeries postponed in B.C. Lower Mainland hospitals due to Covid.
Not sure just what all categories are in the "elective" definition but probably some serious stuff. Health Minister Adrian Dix would like to assure you "you will not be forgotten". That may be inscribed on your headstone - at your cost of course - by the time they figure out just how to tackle this problem.
