RE:What can we do to help ourselves, and Help Thera? While such an approach certainly would not hurt, I believe we ultimately need for the company to do a proper job of educating the investment community about the stock and building strong relationships with the investment community in the US. Canada has long been done with TH for its past sins as evidenced by the tiny perdentage ownership of the stock by Canadians and there is no point in wasting additional time there.
There is no reason for us to have to do what we pay the company leadership quite handsomely to do. And while we can help, and it is in our best interests to do so, it is management that has to figure things out and repair the past damage as quickly as possible.
TH has a cancer drug that may turn out to be quite the game changer. Soleus figured that out pretty quickly and they know more about this than we do. Now it is time to start building a bit of a cult following among both retail and institutional investors around the cancer prospects. As best I can tell, the evidence we have so far justifies that type of intense interest. The problem TH faces is they have blown their credibility already so they are likely very hesitant to step out on the limb with cancer at such an early stage for fear of doing it again should it turn out to be a flop. But I also get the feelinig their confidence in cancer is growing rapidly and that might allow them to be more confident going forward. And how you couch your comments about cancer is important - always acknowledge both the potential and the risks but give investors a sense of where you r eally think cancer is at and where it could potentially go. Lay out the guideposts that cancer has to hit in order to continue to advance so that everyone will know you are not messing with them again. Be transparent and open about both the upside and the downside rather than holding all good and bad data until you can massage it before release. I can take the volatility that will create bit the absence of interest in a very, very intriguing situation I find very hard to take.
Also, demand that your stock be valued like other NASH stocks. I can post my comparison on Stockhouse but the company needs to put that in their presentation and act very ticked off about the lack of respect their stock is getting on that front when they get to that page in the presentation. At this point, since the company does not appear to have enough confidence in NASH to make such claims, the market is assuming it is just another failed effort by a two time loser and will not give them credit for it. So, instead of it being a brilliant move by management to get their drug to pahse III, it is viewed as a joke.
The company needs to change its historic ways of dealing with the investment community as it cannot be argued that the old ways have worked. If TH does not believe in NASH and cancer, then please tell us so we can move on to other stocks. But if you do believe in those products having a reasonable chance of success, that share that with some passion and demand the market give TH the respect it gives almost all other companies at the moment.

It is also the retail investor who (in some age groups) plays around with Reddit and numerous forums like Stocktwits and Yahoo, etc etc etc.
How is that a retail focus awareness strategy is the best strategy for us to help Thera, and help us explain to people what is going on ? And, why is it actually also up to us to do it, while Leah and the team focus on what they do.
They feed us, and we provide the retail marketplace with what we know. What is happening right now (other than Scarlet) is we complain here, and then we tell a few friends to invest - and they do. Then we continue to complain.
I do see a path to change this. So let's do that.
How do you think an analyst or fund manager finds out about stocks to invest in. Certainly not from boring conferences. They find out about it because someone mentioned it, or it came up on their radar with one of many avenues.
