RE:RE:RE:Martello Technologies Group (MTLO-TSX.V) InterviewIt was a poorly worded question from the listener. Had some context to the question been provided, they could have answered it much better while on the spot. The number of users wasn't so much a flub as a poorly worded question without context. I seem to recall a previous presentation which showed about 2 million users with projected market growth of +/-1,000% by 2024. I can't recall 24 million users stated in any presentation and rather it was an interpretation and an assumption to the reader that they are able ot maintain market share and ride the wave to 2024. They didnt say no, they just weren't sure where the number origanted from, and I can uinderstand why.
Key takeaways that I took away from the presentation - the DEM market for 365 users is going to continue to expand rapidly and MTLO is all over it, other areas of growth are present and the company is viewed as a market leader. You can tell that CFO Erin is completely willing to open the books and be transparent about numbers, projections. Always the best sign for me from a confident CFO. John's numbers/projections for users are sandbagged and he will exceed them without a doubt.

Share consolidation is coming this year and it almost seems like folk want it, which I dont get given how most turn out. So, I hope they do it at the right time and be able to really support the price when it happens and then turn it into a must-have stock once we weathered the first impacts. There was a good question that they flubbed, and that is the one about going from 2 million users to 24 million in a few years that came from a previous presentation. They didn't know where that came from and just reitirated the 60% growth from 2 to 3.2 for this year which they really deemed as conservative, especially as the partner got 800k of it already. Hopefully they can jog their memory and answer to the 24 million figure because they definitely put it out there because we were discussing it here quite extensively as it was quite an exponential curve for the next three years. But overall, it does sound that building blocks are in place for more attractive growth going forward and additional product development.
