Managing your online identity with Liquid AvatarBNN published an article this morning about Liquid Avatar. The article talks about the company's ability to give users control of their online identity, replicating wallets, keys, and paperwork in one simple portal.
“From a government level, it’s a top-down approach. Governments are putting in legislation that basically disrupts corporations from owning and managing individuals’ data. That sort of disruption causes a number of issues,” says David Lucatch, President and CEO of Liquid Avatar Technologies (CSE: LQID | OTC: TRWRF | FRA:4T51).
Formed in 2019 to create a system for people to manage their online identity and privacy with simplicity and security, Liquid Avatar went public on the Canadian Securities Exchange on June 10, 2020.
The company’s philosophy is that self-sovereign identity (SSI) is a basic human right, and consumers, not corporations, should benefit from an individual’s personal data, verifiable access and identity credentials. At its core, this means individuals maintain their sovereign identity online, managing what information is available to whom and under what conditions.
