Well I suppose if my life expectancy is only a few months out I'd be shoping somewhere else.. don't think everyone thinks on that short of a term basis though.. just sayin..

Does the word swampland come to mind???

And the difference between taking orders and selling could be debated as well but why bother. Just contact them and see if you are able to place an order or get a price. the only way to do this is to submit a request for information on the RV battery on the Ionix website. go ahead and try and see what you get back from them. this will assure you the battery is not able to be ordered yet! try and place an order and post what happens.

Pachuko wrote: Well unless you think Ionix has a fake Facebook page that uses the ACDC logo illegally the post would seem to be extremely reliable no? You are challenging the factual nature of the post. i would suggest it would be responsible of you to forward it to the company if you are suggesting it is fake.

Good point that they could be selling elsewhere if the other places do not also require government approval which most would and some more stringent than Canada. The small snippet of the inquiry does not state that the person asking about purchasing the batery is in Canada but i would gather from the Ionix answer they must be or they assumed they were.

Either way the news release of February made no mention of not being for sale in Canada.

Looks like a mistake or a deception either way it does not look professional. It would also be wise if you are seeing this as revenue to confirm with the company if the battery is for sale elsewhere or not. my assumption is that the battery is not yet for sale. why would you pre order a battery for your RV that won't be available for months at the earliest and they don't have a price listed.

Ummmm... because you want one when they are available..???
