RE:ganndolph, any comments?AlfTanner,
There are two companies that have been getting impressive drill results and have successfully extended the mine life at each of their properties--Mandalay Resources and Orvana Minerals.
The Mandalay BC187 drill hole intercepting 6.27 meters of 23.6 g/t gold is impressive.
Equally impressive is Orvana's 8.87 meters of 28.95 g/t gold at hole 20V1872.
Orvana also came across 3.25 meters of 50.44 g/t gold at hole 20HA34. The interesting part of this drill intercept was that this very high grade zone starts at 22.35 meters from the drilling platform in existing development. I call this area High Angle East high grade. Two other drill holes intercepted high grade results close to the drilling platform. 20 HA31 intercepted 3 meters of 26.98 g/t gold and 0.54 percent copper starting at 21 meters from the drilling platform.
These results were presented in the October 22, 2020 NR announcing the discovery of the High Angle East Zone which is known to extend 200 meters in the vertical with an open strike of 375 meters and an average thickness of 8 meters based on the 4 cross sections published to date.
A second drilling platform 100 meters lower in the mine and approximately 200 meters east of the first drilling platform intercepted 4.3 meters of 38.38 g/t gold, 76.35 g/t silver, and 4.22 percent copper starting at 55.85 meters from the second drilling platform.
This suggests to me that there may be continuity between the high grade intercepts drilled at the two platforms.
So I like the exploration results at both Bjorkdal and Costerfield which I had expected, but was very surprised by the recent drilling success at Orvana. The question at Youle is what is the continuity of the drilling intercepts?
