Waiting Waiting like everyone else for funding.
I have faith that in the long run Nelson Baker is doing what is best for the stock holders.
If you listen to the interview linked below, and read the posts below that, I think that it may move some to add to their position and buy, not worry.
Note: You can start the interview at the 20 minute mark and get most of the info on what's going on at Mineral Mt..
From the Message Boards:
RE:Recent video
During the interview from the CEO of mineral mountain resources, Nelson Baker I heard things that I’ve been hearing on the message boards for years.
People who know what’s going on and others who actually call in and talk with management have been saying much of this.
I am so refreshed hearing this out of the CEO’s own lips. With him explaining why he believes it. Like he says I’m not just saying this, this is from technology and science.
Does Nelson Baker believe that he has a monster deposit, yes!
Things I got from the Nelson Baker interview:
The Black Hills area is heating up, other gold companies are coming up with good results.
22 min Insiders hold 60% and another 10% is available to them.
23 min Terry Lyons and the other directors have many years of professional experience in this field. He says they all have confidence that this is a major gold deposit.
Note: Terry Lyons is a major player in the gold industry. He came on this Board of Directors two years ago. This is a man who knows gold and would never get involved with a company of this size without a reason.
26 min Nelson believes that the standby mine area holds the same gold potential as that of Homestake mine’s largest ledge the Ledge Nine which produced over 9 million ounces of gold.
27 min He is satisfied and happy with the results from the previous drill results that were at shallow depth. Even though with the new understanding of the type of deposit that it is he would’ve drilled them in differently.
He doesn’t mention that the Homestake mine found little to no gold at this shallow depth.
Nelson believes that we have not hit the centroid yet and that the next drill program will intersect it.
The centroid which is deeper is where all the gold was found at Homestake’s Ledge nine and all of their other ledges there.
He believes that if successful they will intersect it by mid summer. With those results they expect to “define” a resource.
Also to permit and start drilling the Cochrane deposit which they believe is another major deposit. In addition to those two “targets” they have three other areas which have potential.
31 min He said if we’re right mineral Mountain will become a significant mid tier company.
33 min He comments on how large an area of the Homestake mine’s type of deposit was and believes that Mineral Mountain has the same type of large deposit.
He said, “If we prove our theory right I’m willing to bet that we have one of the best gold prospects in North America.”
He says this is all based on technical science not just me standing here saying this Is what we have. It’s all based on research.
35 min In discussing shareholder issues and share price explanations he believes that shareholders were expecting gold numbers that will be produced at much deeper depths.
With the new technology and the latest positive results produced from it, he believes investors will see great value in this.
38 min He talks about the upside potential for mineral mountain. He believes he has the right team.
He says if our model is correct our upside potential is similar to companies like Great Bear (they have found a major deposit and their stock price is in the teens).
His last project was Rainy River, traded as high as 13 1/2 dollars before it sold to a major gold mining company. He could see it being something like that or much bigger.
Also This:
Btshooter, when you look at management and insiders' friends, family, business partners, etc..., then you are looking at least at 60% ownership. Some of us own 1-3% or more and there are multiple groups that own 12% or more.
There's no doubt that shares are being held tightly by individuals that believe in the geology and the team.
Of course some of these people have thrown in the towel as the stock price shows. But, when the financing is raised, the stock should do well.
I have added a touch here, but it is always hard to add when there's blood in the streets. By the way, the updated count of shares is higher now for all of management after the shareholders meeting.
And This:
Yes, things are going very well. While not drilling, the Company has done tremendous amount of due diligence to unravel the model. In addition, they have received third party Geo reports that confirm the Companys findings and where to drill next.
You will recall something similar happened to Great Bear Resources, where they invested their time to unravel their model and then when they resumed their drilling, a discovery was made.
In terms of the money raise, I believe we should hear something soon.
There's no way this play will go unnoticed any longer, in light of the fact that their neighbouring explorers Dakota Territories have raised so much money with industry leaders, and they have independent Geo reports showing the science supports a major deposit.
Hang in there folks!
And:
Ok, so this is what I have been hearing through a couple of grapevines. Several weeks ago the company was about to announce financing and a go ahead with a major investor. The day that was to happen the investor backed out due to another situation in their company and MMV then had to go ahead and start negotiations with other interested parties. In the mean time new data was being revealed from the aerial survey, As time went by the original investor wanted back in. Thus another round of re-negotiations. Due to the various NDA's signed by all parties no one can say anything other than we are getting very close.
This is all spec and hearsay and part of the current situation can be interpreted as either MMV is indeed muzzled due to an NDA or the flip side is they actually don't have anything going on other than just providing themselves with a paycheque through capital raises for as long as they can. I choose to believe the former, mainly due to who they have on the board and the reputation of the Baker family in the business. Once a finance JV or otherwise is announced they will have 2 drill teams on the go and as quick as possible release of data as they can. The rumour is they will try to update info on a weekly basis once thing start to roll.
With the current market cap at only 25 - 26 million it would be nothing for a bigger company to jump in and try to buy as many shares as possible. With most ot the shares being held by insiders and strong hands there could very easily be a greatly exaggerated shift in SP to the up side. Also remember that before the last aerial survey they already had around a dozen high mineralization sites discovered. The aerial survey revealed many other sites as well. MMV has the potential to be around for a very long time and could become one of those 'generational' stocks that you end up passing on to your kids.
I have spent the last couple of years accumulating as much as I can through the ups and downs and we are long overdue for a dose of great news!
Health, Wealth and Prosperity to all!
jevs
The current market cap is around 26 million with the majority of shares being held by insiders and strong hands. If and when a deal is announced and they start to prove out a resource there will be a relatively low float and a lot of big players wanting in.
And:
The SRK report, which is the major part of the due diligence process, was completed in February, I believe. This would give them roughly about 2 months since the due diligence was officially completed on paper and ready to be disseminated.
Once the drilling starts, it will not take long to find out if we have a discovery or not. Given the consistent nature of the grade in these styles of deposits, if a discovery is made it will be much easier to extrapolate the size of the deposit, and in turn the stock price.
Last:
When you look at insiders and their relatives, friends, and associates, you are looking at 65% ownership of outstanding shares, at least.
I don't know when we will drill exactly, but yes, it will hopefully be soon. It is very important to note that the last drilling program proved that the Homestake model is well intact!!
While the drilling did not produce the high grades over long widths that investors had hoped for, the drilling produced similar or better results than Homestake's very own results when they were vectoring in for the discovery hole.
I strongly believe their very recently completed SRK report will prove valuable for them to raise sufficient cash to finally make a discovery.
They had plenty of time (many months) to unravel the model and do proper research to strategically place the next drill holes. I recall when GBR Great Bear did a similar thing and took the time to unravel their model, which proved very fruitful.
