Not sure I agree " it's not about numbers in a bull market". Clearly you are going to grab more leverage in a bull market trading .20-.50 stocks because you are much higher on the risk return curve. What puts you at that point on the curve are the " numbers". I don't see anything wrong if someone wants to speculate on the pennies but you are comparing apples and oranges.  It's silly to say I will make more money in a copper bull market if I trade a .40 copper play then Fcx.

For me, my portfolio is made up of 5 very large positions and I move those positions based on the sectors I want to be exposed of. I'm not going to buy a .40 spec, it's just not how I invest.
