EQX is a favorite for traders to short because it is trading below the 50MA and 200MA. But this has created a widening underperformance with the price of gold. Such a gap makes it attractive for value investors. Furthermore, the Federal Reserve will "continue to increase its holdings of Treasury securities by at least $80 billion per month and of agency mortgagebacked securities by at least $40 billion per month".
