Where's the beef? ... here's the mandates! So, that word wasn't just tossed around. It was an acknowledgement that the current price is a bit steep for some to adopt the technology... short of a mandate. That doesn't mean that the price needs to come down to the cost of a smoke detector, however... think sprinklers and fire protection systems. It means that PG thinks talking about mandates is appropriate. And it certainly is. And the software updating capabilty is a step becuase these things will have to talk to each other (and a central hub) eventually. So, what is it worth to have patented the first, but not yet mandated, heart of a future pandemic protection system? More than the current shareprice.
Funny that he admits that he saw it wrong in the beginning but so did we. Hearing how he sees it now makes sense. Bigger, quiter, mandated... less commercial bling... more a part of infrastructure. The best two words of that whole thing: mandate and licensing (and financing.for the trifecta). Oh, the little sales do matter, sure, but they are nothing in the big picture and now we have a new base to build our expectations on. Pretty cool to be holding now. Glad I grabbed more a few weeks ago!
But I still expect to be left waiting for promised news... we'll see.
