RE:Stephen Takacsy comments further on companyYeah, there's all kinds of things here that are either outright distortions or at least questionable.
A few speed bumps over the last year or so? They've been hitting speed bumps with some consistency since 2013.
Trouble finishing the Vietnam plant because of the pandemic? No doubt the pandemic didn't help but I think if you look at filings from way back in late 2018 or so you'll see that, at that time, they were projecting that the Vietnam plant would be finished by late 2019--i.e., before the pandemic even started.
The balance sheet is repaired? ST is assuming the Debenture Resolution is a done deal. He may simply not realize that Mr. Royer's shares cannot be voted on it--which also means he couldn't be bothered to read this board, if he's even aware of it. And as for the share offering from December 2020, it only raised maybe $4.5 million after expenses and I don't think we know yet what fraction of the warrants were exercised.
Finally, Baylin is a world leader in their tech area? Maybe, but their results hardly support that. I don't know what the latest is from the likes of Nokia, Ericsson, Huawei, Samsung, etc. But I would not assume that those companies are just standing still.
Baylin got approved as a supplier by a Tier 1 US carrier recently. That's great. But was Baylin the first antenna maker to get that approval? If so, I'd think Baylin would have told us. So, was Baylin the 3rd? The 5th? The 10th? Don't know. And I doubt Stephen Takacsy knows either.
All that approval means, I think, is that Baylin is now a POSSIBLE supplier to that carrier. But it doesn't guarantee any actual sales.
