Opinion: on where UEX should be tradingOn April 22 2017 UEX announced the acquisition of JCU.. At that time the share price had dipped to $0.295 on April 21.... There was one price target of .$0.50 .... Price targets are assumptions of possible future value of a company..... So taking $0.295 and divide by $0.50 gives us .59 or 59 percent of the projected future price..
Now we have TWO price targets $0.80 and $1.10 so to be fair let's average the high and the low and that is $0.95........
So if UEX was 59 percent of the $0.50 price target we can take .59 X $0.95 = $0.5605
Now since the announcmet, there has been a huge catylist to the Uranium sector and UEX , that is the Sprott deal.. So the calculation is, I feel a low case for UEX because the projection was based on a Spot price of maybe $32 .
In a previous rant I stated that the Spot price had to move before the sector would move... It sure looks like there are a lot of new eyes coming to look at the Uranium space .. some are writing reports to their subscribers who may have not ever thought about Uranium as ann investment..
If you are not in the Uranium sector at this time, this maybe something you should look at..
Where can UEX and many other Uranium stocks top out at, no one can truly say... There is lots of speculation and feelings... But my bet is MUCH MUCH higher than the $0.56 from my calculation... Because, it was based on the rerating of the company with the assets from the JCU deal.. And uses data not counting the Sprott deal.
So good luck on the rollercoaster.. Any Uranium small cap stock can swing HUGE over a couple of days . Don't be pushed out by the sharks.. If you just bought and the price of UEX drops $0.05 would you sell?? I wont but I am just an old fat guy..
All the best to you, do your own due dilligance and this is not a sector for the faint of heart!!
This IS NOT INVESTMENT ADVICE just another rant.. So Monday it will probably drop, stay the same or go up?... Your guess is as good as mine..
