To make the RE:RE: longer ;-)   let's not forget the political circumstances that also make this an interesting play.  Being independent from Indonesia, Phillipinnes, China and other large nickel producing countries, US doesn't have many choices and will want to secure a stable resource for the (decades long) energy revolution we're in.   All fingers x-ed but MS seems to be smart to play this right.

If I had a personal wish it would be for CNC to consider moving towards a fully vertically integrated company - think battery factory in Ontario.  More money further up the value chain.  I'm sure this must have crossed their minds already.

But first steps first.
