Yes we are attempting to follow the American system. The quicker everyone gets Covid plus the Vaccine the quicker herd immunity kicks in. It is the 2 pronged approach. The US is well over 10% infected and that is based on testing. Most University studies say that number might be over 25% now add in Vaccines and you got it covered. Hmm some countries managed to do it withought killing 600k people though!
