Highest grade gold intercepts in many years; $20 TargetThese last 2 press releases show the highest grade gold intercepts about ever reported. They remind me of when I worked at the Homestake Mine (40M oz Au), where a former mine manager told me that the highest grade mined zone at Homestke was in the 1950's(?) when they stoped into a feeder zone that had a 1 1/2 inch wide vein of pure electrum. They had the shift bosses mine it out. I expect that when NFG runs into one of these main feeder zones that we might see something similar for NFG.
These data suggest that this NFG deposit could be the world's lowest cost gold mine when developed. The majors like Kirkland Lake Gold, Newmont, and Barrick must be salivating over this system now. I see a $20 price target, before any of these major mining companies try to buy them out. Not bad!
