when there is no volume but day tradrers ( as is the case here ) unfortunately they pull all the strings
they set up their algorithims as to achieve their desired outcome
they don't even look at the asks/bids the way you and I do , the algos do all their work for them 24/7
the only way this will stop is with ramped up volume that will diminish their capacity
that is why day trading should be banned outright
they do nothing positive for the stock , they are not investors
they are like ticket scalpers but far worse , buy for one price and sell at a higher price , they could care less about the stock
tons and tons of stocks get manipulated daily
if you buy shares in a company you should be vmandated to keep those shares for 48 hours minimum
they'll just find their way around anything , they'll find loopholes in anything
the bottom line is the stockmarket is rigged against retail investors 100 different ways
