You mention the DRC being a joke. Well, at least they allow mining projects to be built, unlike the US and Canada. I bought many shares of a company in Minnesota in 2008 called Polymet Mining. I gave up after 4 years. They are still struggling to get the project started due to environmentalists and court battles. Maybe the joke is our countries. I doubt you shorted 10,000 shares. You are just an annoying troll who decided to hang out here.
I know the project you refer to......was invested in that company for a short period as well back in the early 2000's. Like you, gave up on it as well. Another one.......Noront and the ring of fire in Northern Ontario.....never owned it but glad I didn't. Tied up with 1st nation issues for almost 20 yrs.

Some talk about political risk in the DRC..................here's an example of what goes on in Canada in good old politically stable Northern Ontario. Noront discovered the Ring of Fire around late 2008, early 2009. Massive cromite discovery, nickel and other metals as well............A massive deposit that can be mined for multi-generations............A real game changer for Northwestern Ontario. Here we are today, the discovery still tied up in red tape. After years of having the project tied up with 1st Nation issues, it was just announced only recently that an EA for a portion of the access road to the area would begin shortly with a timeline of potentially 2024 for Federal approval.
If that is what's considered to be low on the scale of political risk, I'll take the DRC anyday.
