Reconnaissance Energy Africa Ltd. is a Canada-based oil and gas company. The Company is engaged in the exploration of the Damara Fold Belt and Kavango Rift Basin in the Kalahari Desert of northeastern Namibia and northwestern Botswana. The Company holds interest in a petroleum exploration license no. 0073 (PEL 73) in northeast Namibia and an interest in petroleum exploration rights in northwest Botswana over the Kavango Sedimentary Basin. The Company's exploration license covers an area of approximately 25,341.33 square kilometers (km2) (6.3 million acres) of oil and/or gas exploration properties comprising Blocks 1719, 1720, 1721, 1819, 1820 and 1821 situated in the Kavango Basin of northeast Namibia (the Namibia Licensed Property) and approximately 7,592 km2 (1.88 million acres) in Botswana (the Botswana Licensed Property). The two licenses together comprise over 32,933 km2 (8 million acres).

Today's news and another indication of excellent results

Regarding today's news and another indication of excellent results from the first well.

Things are moving forward. ReconAfrica is following step by step their master plan, which will very, very likely be a sensational success and gamechanger for Namibia and ReconAfrica.

Regarding the vertical seismic profile: The drilling results/cores are compared/analysed with it. This has nothing to do with the planned large scale 450km 2D seismic of the Kavango Basin.

Regarding EIA: Until ReconAfrica gets the EIA, they are not allowed to start this 2D seismic. As soon as they get this approval, there will be a news release about it.

On stocktwits, there was also another confirmation/indication from the IR tonight that the results of the first well, far exceeded all expectations. This clearly supports their statement in the last news regarding the only temporary coverage of the first well. Should the second well be at least as successful, the second well will also be capped only temporarily. We have then in the future already two places, from which oil/gas are produced !!!
