RE:18 per cent of ev buyers???Yes, our electrical grid could never handle personal vehicles all going electric..... never mind talking about medium to heavy duty vehicles.
Only realistic option would be everyone charge their vehicles at home at night while not in use...All other charging facilities would basically be for emergency charging as it would not make any sense as you would need 100's of chargers per station and basically a mini-nuclear reactor for each station. As it is now, we have line ups at the gas stations with multiple pumps going, each able to service a vehicle in a few minutes.
But the Crazy Eco agenda will push EV to mass adoption.... and then the whole system crashes.
All just my opinion/view/thinking.

In California, over 18 per cent of electric vehicle buyers switched back to gasoline power, main reason used was that it took to long to recharge batteries,(thats in California),imagine in colder climates????My point is...its going to be much longer then ever anticipated, before fossil fuels are no longer needed.Beyond that with next to no funding going into new exploration and development, theres a squeeze coming from an oil shortage,(real or imagined),that will skyrocket prices like never witnessed before!!!!Huge oil projects, all around the world have been put on hold and cancelled all together, theres a time coming,(sooner then many suspect), when companies like Cenovus, with vast oil reserves, will be king!!!CENOVUS IS A VERY STRONG BUY.
