Kentor Drills 16 ounces of gold per ton at Burnakura The excerpt below is from Kentors 2012 drilling at the Lewis pit of Burnakura.
I have searched to see if this grade of visible gold was ever drilled in Western Australia and have yet to find one that could match that from the Lewis Pit.
This gold was not mined by Kentor and Monument found more high grade gold at Lewis pit too.

The reverse circulation highlights from the planned Lewis pit shell include:
- 5 metres at 102.2 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 43 metres, including 1 m at 474.5g/t gold; ( 1 pound of gold per t)
- 17 metres at 9.6g/t gold from 43 metres, including 1 metre at 103g/t gold.
Simon Milroy, managing director, said that the results suggest that the Lewis pit may be of significantly higher grade than the current resource model indicates.
