Great post as usual, Yasch. This sounds like an important add-on to the BB IVY/AWS platform, where IVY provides a safe, secure, standardized data flow platform, with Otonomo curating the data and dealing with whomever wants to use it. BB goes to great pains to say that they do not own the data, so maybe Otonomo is the added intermediary enabling BB to remain hands-off with respect to the data, and to concentrate on their core competency. Curating data and dealing with OEMs and others is an entirely different business from what BlackBerry does.
