While I agree with you on the recovery ....or lack there of ...it's failure to return was also,clearly tied to the removal of language in the regulations that represents that paradigm shift in investing we see now. Even in the "big leagues" as we witnessed this year, the capacity to manipulate stocks by hedge funds and maverick retail groups (thank goodness there is pushback once in a while) happens regularly.
Having said that all companies have to start somewhere. As for your comment on flipping ....while that strategy may be rampant there is still lots of opportunity on the TSXV to make a lot more than a little bit of cash ....even when holding long. Just need to do the appropriate DD and observe some patience. The challenge is that on these Jr markets a lot more companies fail than make it.
