Everyone piled on hedges after seeing oil prices drop into the abyss early 2020. No one expected the extent to the quick recovery in energy prices that we had. So we have to give them a pass there.
Last year's first quarter was coming off a still very solid economy and we've still not reached anywhere near that thus far so i would say overall the result comparisons were quite impressive.
