RE:RE:RE:RE:Should have known.. Thanks BNNWell, that's youre perogative then!
I will continue to align myself, happily, with the "antiquated" holding terms of Warren Buffett, Mohnish Pabrai, and Christopher Mayer to name a few, bu that is just me, you do whatever works best for you!
To me, short term is less than a year, and I do not invest in anything with the plan to sell quick... I have tried it many times, and I am very poor at timing the market in that way, so I'll stick to what works for me.
I buy at what I consider to be a low price, and hold until the price is GROSSLY high, or the company is no longer executing it's plans in the way I see fit.
Cheers!

That was the case in 1985 when I started trading. When you had to discuss a trade with your broker before entering it. AND a BUY / SELL commission was $25.00 for a small ticket ($35.00
for over $5, G.s )
Now today with thousands sitting at their key board 7 hours a day --- buy/sell/buy/sell all day long.
Hundreds of trades do not stay for four - five hours! Only your best winners stay for a few months
in the price range of BBTV. A year may be true if you have 200 shares of MSFT.
