RE:RE:RE:Sellers Way Too CautiousI don't expect much gain in inventories anytime soon. In my part of the world, there are much fewer sawmills running than there use to be in the 1990's to mid 2000's. Many went under in the last cycle due to prolonged low prices followed up by the 2008 collapse of the US banks. Even now with high lumber prices, many of the mills that survived are not running due to empty mill yards ( no inventory of logs ). That is mainly due to an extreme lack of suppliers in the trucking and wood harvesting part of the industry. Most of the experienced people h moved on or retired  when the industry collapsed and now there is a whole generation  missing to fill the void.
I guess the big question will be............how much is the consumer willing or able to pay.
