RE:RE:Iron oresales vs Ti pigments
@kha my question relates asmuch to my perception of management as to the value of the tailing stockpiles.
From the management point of view I think that they are very poor stock promoters. They have a lot going on for Largo but are not able to create the excitement on the market. Management seems to be going in the right direction in terms of the VRBF batteries and trying to diversify away from a single source of revenue.
I do not think that management is stupid and also the big holders of the shares like Arias will push management in the rigth direction.
My understanding is that thestockpile has a high contain of iron ore and alsoTi. I don't know the steps to produce either one, related costs and logistics when dealing with a high volume of raw material, etc
The brings me to my questions about the value of the stockpile. Selling iron ore seems like a sure way to make a quick profit now. Under the assumption that management (and Arias behind them) is not stupid to realize this, I am left with the questions on my post. I am wondering if there is a valid financial reason for just not selling a big chunk of the stockpile as iron ore now instead of waiting for additional processes to extract value later
We have been promised an update on the Titanium Dioxide (TiO 2 ) project this could shed some light on the financials but I do not have great expectantions on getting enough clarity even if it makes sense.....
