Peyto Exploration & Development Corp. is a Canadian energy company involved in the development and production of natural gas, oil and natural gas liquids in Alberta's deep basin. The Alberta Deep Basin is a geologic setting situated on the northeastern front of the Rocky Mountain belt in the deepest part of the Alberta sedimentary basin. It acquired Repsol Canada Energy Partnership (Repsol Assets), which included around 23,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day of low-decline production and 455,000 net acres of mineral land. The acquisition includes five operated natural gas plants with combined net natural gas processing capacity of around 400 million cubic feet per day, 2,200 kilometers (km) of operated pipelines, and a 12 MW cogeneration power plant. These assets include Edson Gas Plant and the Central Foothills Gas Gathering System. The Company has a total proved plus probable reserves of approximately 7.8 trillion cubic feet equivalent (1.3 billion barrels of oil equivalent).

Some times the wind is hitting you in the face and other times it is hitting you in the back.

They have made money more times hedging etc over the years, but it just happened during the worst of the worst to be on the wrong side of timing as you mentioned.

If anyone has any ideas, not 2020 hindsight, in what Peyto should be doing going forward it is not like we see them from others ahead of time.  Easy to complain after the fact.

The worst deal I did in my business, one of the more expensive ones ended up being a bust more ways than one.  HOwever, I have made more money off of that bad deal every time I go to do another one it is always in the back of my mind and saves me money almost every time and on top makes me more when I sell if I happen to find something interesting of value in it.

NOw, I wish I could apply that to trading stocks for myself.

Looking forward to a good week, added more shares last week and may add more.
