The fear of classifying drivers as employees may keep Uber off it’s highs for awhile. But if all gig companies were forced to classify drivers as employees, Uber would dominate that transition over the others. It’s broader platform and global exposure along along with more liquidity will drive them to profitability without shrinking as much as it’s competitors. That said, I think more of a compromise here in the U.S. would be met to solve the issue. So in the long term Uber is a great investment, and will boon for those who hold it. ( this is pretty much my take on it as well. ) GD .
