RE:Cibc is a Terrible brokerage

I see we shared the same experiences here dealing with cibc investorsedge.  Very colourful comments you made but pretty much accurate- lolololo

Yup the advise you get today is useless that is why I do all my trading myself and do NOT use a full service broker.  Number 1 reason is they try to sell you the bankers own mutual funds or investments where they make the big dough and you get the crumbs. it is a bs game that many still do not see or want to be burdened with the awareness.   Shame on those people I guess.  No thanks and not for me. Never again.

They would never recommend you invest in the MJ sector because they don't want you to make the money.   Only they want to make the money.  I stopped listening to a full service brokerage many years ago when I discovered how much money they were making off my investments as a full service advisor but the results of their advise was slim to none.  I never got a phone call from my advisor until I called to complain about the fees that are charged at the end of the year when I get my full year statements with the fees disclosed.   What a joke.  That is why I do my own research and trading and I only pay $6.95 per trade with investorsedge . You must keep a minimum of $100k in your trading account to get the discounted pricing.   Best advise I can offer anyone here is to do your own research and invest on your own.  The advise you get from these big institutions is not worth the money spent on commissions and fees paid out.  No way!!

The more you educate yourself on the markets and individual securities,  the wealthier you will be.  Keep it for yourself instead of giving it to the big banks and other institutions who have been robbing us for years.

Rin
