Very stategic & smart move.....By Hive, as always. I had urged Mr. Holmes Team hive to reassess their Scandanivian ops and had predicted last year the demise of part of it sometime in the future. And here we are.All i can say is "Well down Frank!", this is a really smart move to slim down ops and focus capital on it's core business which provides the most lucrative margins. The Kolos divison was a both a drag on operations and a drain on resources which was never gonna be porfitable without major investment, including considerable Gov't concessions. Which imo the Norweigan Gov't was never gonna give out. The political direction and populational sentiment in Scandinavia was headed too much towards a very socialist agenda, more than it is now. Hive and it's s/h were NEVER going to see any substantial profits from there in an environment like that and the insane level of taxation that would be levied on them. So again, really smart move Mr. Holmes. Hopefully you will be able to deploy and captial or resources that were earmarked for Kolos to where it matter most.
With this trategic move done, i wouldn't be surprised in the least bit if Mr. Holmes & his team attempt to SIGNIFICANTLY expand their North American operations with an accretive acquisition some time in the near future. If i was in their shoes, this would be MY next move!
