RE:Chilled cheese

RE:Chilled cheese

Intermediaries like LJ+Cncd may not have aligned (timelines, targets etc.) objectives with the science.  Assuming they do - like that of assuming an angel investor is thinking the same as the inventor - is a rather large leap of faith.

The $4.5 mil is what they have committed to conformal coating with no guarantees that that will be enough.  We’ll see I guess.  In the meantime, researchers with much deeper pockets are trying to erase the moat or advantage we have with “first to post” on keeping islets alive.  Again, I won’t assume that their deeper pockets can’t inform equal or better outcomes.  Will you?

As for blind acceptance - the question wasn’t around who, but rather about “why” that is debatable and something we should be respecting in whatever model formulating is being carried out.  My cheese is clean, and unlike people waving their tiny hands, the allusion is nothing personal.

I think we agree that as risk is removed, we should benefit from a raised profile - attractive value proposition. But what do we compare our investment to?  Nobody else with this little capital has attempted to take on the 3 part challenge of islet volume, islet protection, and islet function continuity.  Again, I’ve applauded Phillip for swinging for those fences, and wondered if that wasn’t difficult enough.  All that and a business genius too??

So both your and my thesis pivots on collaboration (or take out) then, and if that really is the case, then let’s look at how historically the collaboration around getting information to shareholders in a timely and forthcoming way has played out.  A recent example is the debacle (my opinion) around the Thyroid updates.  That was but one example of “swimmingly” in choppy waters for the retail guy.  There have been others.

At any rate, glad you found parts of this back and forth worthy of a reply.  I’ll assume that the parts you chose not to focus on i.e."Big Pharma never thinks like retailers" to now be re-thought.  Time to sheath that probe of yours and we’ll see what happens come AGM time.

Good luck,

DF
