Off topic here but for anyone who might be interested there is an interesting documentary on tvo tonight at 9 about a woman named Letizia Battaglia who is an Italian photojournalist living in Palermo, Italy. She documented the ferocious internal war of the Mafia, and its assault on civil society. She sometimes found herself at the scene of four or five different murders in a single day. The documentary is called shooting the mafia and it's about her life's work documenting the Sicilian mafia through her photography for which she received death threats. Battaglia and her friends stage an impromptu exhibition of her photographs in the village of Corleone, a mafia stronghold that has produced several bosses. The locals initially stare at them out of curiosity then wander away in silence. It was an act of incredible bravery and defiance. She sounds like a fascinating woman if anyone is interested in watching just thought I would throw it out there.
