RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Dave the Biggest Bagholder on Earth : Matica Buys Droit that is bad advice. I was 26 and paid my parents mortgage off. I had no money but earning potential they never had it so good. They had 4 kids tough life lost their first house they got to enjoy life withought worrying about bills before they were using a walker. That is how it should be. That said, the whole econonly is azz backwards these day I got 3 kids all adults 1 is doing real well and I am subsidizing the bills for the other 2 in 2 different cities. It is tough sluggin for the 25-35 year olds these days unless their daddies and mommies are loaded and have connection or can get them gov jobs. It is a tale of 2 worlds these days alot of have nots and very few haves! The only people getting ahead are on real estate wealth and that bubble is going to burst soon. Before I blew my knee out and Covid was up north building a nice place on the lake. Given I do not need the money and do not need to work I did not figure it was right during Covid that I travel to another community. Never seen this before I keep getting texts from people asking to buy my place and have not finished lol! Private lake 2 miles long only 17 lots. Another knee procedure on the 25th been almost a year and a half since I could walk without assistance getting to thing never again and I was a long distance runner! Covid has cancelled elective surgeries I guess cancer heart and not being able to walk is elective. Been so long now i have atriphy in the muscles going to be hard to recover. Sounds like you are not hurting if you have a hefty sum in your RRSP pay your parents mortgage now. Let them have the freedom of knowing they have no bills and children that appreciate them!
