Antibe Therapeutics Inc(Pre-Merger) ATBPF

Antibe Therapeutics Inc. is a clinical-stage biotechnology company. The Company is leveraging its hydrogen sulfide (H2S) platform to develop therapies to target inflammation arising from a range of medical conditions. The Company’s pipeline includes assets that seek to overcome the gastrointestinal ulcers and bleeding associated with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Its lead drug, otenaproxesul, is in clinical development as an alternative to opioids and NSAIDs for acute pain. Its second pipeline drug, ATB-352, is being developed for a specialized pain indication. The Company also focuses on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Otenaproxesul combines a moiety that releases hydrogen sulfide with naproxen, a non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory drug. ATB-352 is an H2S-releasing derivative of ketoprofen, a potent NSAID commonly prescribed for acute pain. Its IBD candidates are being designed to maintain the efficacy, safety, and pharmacokinetic properties of ATB-429.

I have to keep reminding myself

I have to keep reminding myselfThat the share price is 42 cents pre split and not to be pissed because I now have spent approx 175 grand on stock that could nave been bought for 17.5 grand last fall. Why not get pissed you say? A double pre split would net you a profit of 17.5 grand, whereas post split that same number of shares, doubled in price nets 175 grand. Is it possible? Absolutely! Is it possible to go the other way and lose all? For sure, but the market's middle name is risk, and the risks have been reduced dramatically even though the investment has increased tenfold. As I see it there are legal procedures, bureaucratic procedures and management decisions that best can be described as housecleaning still to address. The acceptance by Nasdaq and the phase 3 commencement  are the important and perhaps crucial catalysts that still lie ahead. So far it looks like I bombed on my prediction of the amalgamation effect, but this still is very positive for shareholders and perhaps it's not understood just how important. all IMO
